The United Nations Society (UNSoc.) purpose is to prepare members, provide logistic support and organize delegations to attend MUN conferences in North America.

Through the society, members are provided with the opportunity to attend Model United Nations Conferences and enhance their debating skills while exchanging ideas about international issues amongst a vast range of university students.

The academic year 2005-2006 the society will be sending delegations to NSNC, McMUN, HNMUN, NAMUN and CANIMUN. Attending conferences at the University of Toronto or travelling to Washington, Montréal, Boston or Ottawa for a model United Nations conference will provide you with the unparalleled opportunity to better understand the world, its people, and its problems. The hands-on experience raises a broader and more sympathetic awareness towards humanity.
