MUN :: Model United Nations
Through the society, members are provided with the opportunity to enhance their debating skills while exchanging ideas among other participants. The society provides the forum for students to represent the University of Toronto at various model UN conferences in North America.

MUN conferences simulate a number of committees at the United Nations, including numberous general assemblies, as well as more specific committees ranging from the United Nations Development Fund to the United Nations Secuirty Council. Through the society, delegations are formed and sent to various conferences, representing the University of Toronto. The members of the delegation then act as diplomats promoting and protecting the interests of their assigned countries. Delegates have the oppurtunity to interact and work with delegates from universities all over North America to tackle issues that are at the fore of world politics.
Whatever conference and committee you may choose, attending provides an outlet for interaction amongst students interested in politics along with an educational experience aiming to improve:
